Small Shop Update & Fall Pottery Plans

It was a busy spring of shows, and thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth in person! Between a busier than usually spring and fuller event schedule, my online shop has been a lot quieter than I originally planned for this year.

I'm doing a small shop update with just a few pieces. It's not a large restock, but I wanted to get a few pieces online for those who aren't able to catch me at an event.

I've also had to update my shipping prices. I'm not thrilled about it either, but shipping costs continue to go up, and I need to keep them in line with what it actually costs to safely package and ship pottery. The good news is that shipping two mugs together is much more economical than shipping just one.

If you are in the Kansas City area, you can also skip shipping altogether by visiting me at one of my fall events. I've added Meeple-A-Thon (November 6-8) to my schedule. I'm looking forward to another gaming convention after having so much fun at my first one earlier this year.

Studio production has been slower than I'd hoped this summer. The weather has presented an unexpected challenge as the hotter it gets outside, the colder my basement studio stay. Cold hands are -not- ideal when you're trying to throw pottery. It's taken longer to get back into a regular rhythm than I wanted, but new work is underway.

The good news is I am planning a larger shop update in October before the winter events madness starts in November.
