Handling Time
I do my best to pack and ship your pottery as quickly and safely as possible.
- In-stock items ship within 2–5 business days.
- Custom orders take a little longer because they’re made just for you. The lead time will be listed on each custom item, but it generally ranges from 3–8 weeks; enough time for me to sculpt, dry, fire, glaze, fire again, and hope the kiln favors me.
U.S. Shipping
All U.S. orders head out via USPS Ground Advantage as this is the affordable option that gets your pottery from my studio to your doorstep in one piece.
At this time, express shipping isn’t available, but I promise I pack everything with care and hustle.
Shipping to Canada
For my neighbors up north, orders ship through Pirate Ship’s Simple Export Rate, which gives the best pricing I can offer. Delivery usually takes 1–3 weeks, depending on customs and how cooperative the shipping gremlins are.
A couple important notes:
- I don’t collect duties, taxes, or tariffs, so if those pop up, they’ll be collected upon delivery.
- Packages going to Canada must be under 4 lbs. Since very large cat butt mugs are mighty, not lightweight, ordering more than two to three mugs may require placing multiple orders to keep each package weight within the limit.
Packaging & Multiple Shipments
Every piece is wrapped and padded, and requires breathing room in the box for that padding to do its job at protecting your piece. To help prevent breakage, especially with larger pieces, I may ship your order in multiple boxes. If that happens, don’t worry! You’ll get separate tracking numbers so you can follow each little ceramic adventure.
Also, rest assured: Fives is absolutely not allowed to supervise shipping. After multiple attempts to eat the bubble wrap and sneak into outgoing boxes like a furry stowaway, he has been permanently relieved of his packaging duties. Your pottery, and Fives, are both safer this way.
